The Sunbeam Holiday Boutique, one of the longest running fundraising events in Cleveland, opens shop at the Shaker Heights Country Club on October 20, 2010 and runs through October 22, 2010.
The Boutique is open to the public and is hosted by The Sunbeam Board, a local volunteer group supporting Vocational Guidance Services (VGS). Every year, the Boutique generates tens of thousands of dollars for VGS towards vocational training, work experience and job placement services for residents who are disabled or economically disadvantaged in more than 17 counties throughout Ohio.
With a full entourage of more than 30 vendors from around the country, this year’s Boutique offers one of the largest ranges of unique gift items including stylish accessories such as hand-painted silk scarves, women’s and children’s apparel, fine jewelry including personalized pieces by renowned jewelry artists, and other gift items from around the world. “We have once again searched the country to showcase the perfect vendors for the Holiday Boutique,” says Hallie Stewart, president of The Sunbeam Board. “I believe everyone will find wonderful gifts for all of the people on their holiday lists this year.”
A Preview Party kicks off the event on October 20th. (RSVP is required). Guests will enjoy a first glance at this year’s offerings, as well as appetizers, cocktails, and music. The sale then continues with its Boutique hours open to the public with a $10 admission.
